GlobWetland II is a regional pilot project of the Ramsar Convention, funded through the European Space Agency. Its primary objective is to facilitate the integration of remote sensing into the conservation and management of wetlands.

THE CARBOWET NETWORK
Carbon storage in wetlands, certification and self-financing of conservation and rehabilitation
CARBOWET, a SaafConsult B.V. initiative, specializes in the provision of support services and technical assistance for the long-term sustainable management of public and private wetlands. The initiative works on effective environmental management and sustainable financing for long-term wetland conservation through the trading of captured carbon credits.
